How to Order

Ordering a cake is a conversation, not a checkout. Here’s what to expect.

  1. Plan ahead

    Pick a date from Friday to Sunday and allow at least 2 weeks’ notice for custom orders.

  2. Fill in the order form

    Tell us about your occasion, design ideas and date on the cake order form, or message us on Instagram or Facebook.

  3. We confirm the details

    Jay’s Cakes gets back to you about design, size, flavour and price. A 50% deposit Sample secures your date.

  4. Celebrate

    Collect your cake at your pickup time, or ask about local delivery Sample, then enjoy your day.

Friday to Sunday orders only.

Notice

At least 2 weeks’ notice on all custom orders.

Deposits & payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The balance is due 3 days before pickup. We accept Cash App, Zelle and cash. Sample

Changes & cancellations

Design changes are welcome up to 7 days before your order date. Deposits are non-refundable, but can move to a new date once, subject to availability. Sample

Pickup & delivery

Pickup is by appointment on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Local delivery within about 15 miles may be available from $15. Sample

Allergens & ingredients

Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, dairy, soy and nuts. We can’t guarantee any product is allergen-free, so please tell us about allergies when you order. Sample

Cake care

Keep your cake refrigerated and take it out 1 to 2 hours before serving. Carry it flat, on the car floor rather than a seat. Sample
